He came home from VBS (i.e., vacation bible school) last night with a Bible verse from Matthew 19:26, "With God, all things are possible."
Son #1: Mama, do you believe that's true? Because I want to walk on water.
Sheesh! And I want to win the lottery!

you know, when i first saw that photo i thought of the dalai lama. can the next dalai lama be a little boy from upstate NY?
The dalai lama can come from anywhere, as long as he passes the test.
