My friend BB (of NH fame)(actually of ESPN fame when visiting all of the major/minor league baseball parks in one season) put it on a mix tape for me in college. Prior to that, I had never heard of it either. I think it's a non-hit wonder.
I remember it very well. I think that it got a lot of airplay on small non-commercial radio (college) stations.
